Volga, an artist-Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer
VOLGA attributes history of art, her cultural background, and people's behavior as her main subjects and sources of inspiration. Generally, Volga creates with strong focus to craft. She likes decorative, useful things, creative process of such artists like William Morris.
She also likes interpret art history, create with a mixture of the lyrical and humorous in her work. Cultural code is a large focus in her works too. In one of latest projects, she explored stereotypes in Belarusian society related to LGBTQ+ people. And the last, but not the least, VOLGA searches for the meaning of creativity in life and "representation of the art as accessible to everyone."
